Zwipe has announced that one of the leading global digital music streaming and media service providers is currently testing its biometric access cards, with the aim of potentially deploying Zwipe’s technology throughout the company’s facilities to increase security.
The Zwipe Access card is a fingerprint-based dual-authentication tool designed for secure access control. It performs fingerprint capture, extraction, and comparison directly on the card, ensuring that biometric data remains private. This approach aims to enhance data privacy and significantly minimize security risks in both physical and digital settings.
The potential partnership reflects a growing need for reliable and advanced security measures.
“Security and privacy concerns are growing everywhere,” said Robert Puskaric, President and CEO of Zwipe. “Adopting secure and reliable access control systems is essential in protecting people and facilities. Zwipe’s biometric technology offers a secure, fast, and intuitive authentication experience for access control. We are delighted to have such a global leader as potential customer.”
Just last week, the company revealed that a leading U.S.-based social media and IT company is testing its Zwipe Access biometric cards. That testing is facilitated through the company’s strategic technology partner and aims to enhance security across global facilities.
Earlier this year, Zwipe announced a partnership with Plasticard – ZFT to distribute its biometric access cards in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
