MultiScan527 The New Palm Livescan From Green Bit To Be Unveiled at BCC

Italian headquartered law enforcement and ID management biometrics provider Green Bit will be present at next week’s Biometrics Consortium Conference (BCC) 2013 in Tampa, Florida, where, while manning booth 718, it will be unveiling a new palm livescan.

Dubbed the MultiScan527, the newest palm image offering form Green Bit will be capable of scanning the entire hand in conformance with FBI standards. The ball of the palm, full fingers and fingertip impressions are all captured by the device that also boasts a full color touchscreen and a portable weight of 10.8 lbs.

According to both Christian Rutigliano (head of international sales) and Sergio Rainero (Green Bit COO), the most exciting feature of the MultiScan527 is going to be its price point, which was designed with the limited budgets of law enforcement organizations in mind.
