BioConnect has announced a major new client in the healthcare sector. Multi-Health Systems (MHS) is integrating the company’s eponymous identity platform.
The integration will bring BioConnect’s mobile biometric authentication technology to MHS’s IT infrastructure, physical infrastructure (in the form of access control), and its critical applications. All client and employee identities will be consolidated into BioConnect’s platform, allowing MHS to do away with password and PIN-based authentication.
MHS is a developer of clinical medial assessment systems, and as such the company deals with sensitive data. The BioConnect partnership “puts MHS at the forefront of privacy solutions for ourselves and our clients,” explains MHS President Hazel Wheldon in a statement, adding the partnership “will not only improve identity management but will transform MHS’s scientific assessment landscape.”
The deal comes quickly on the heels of another major integration, with UK-based data hosting colocation provider Netwise Hosting Ltd. recently contracting the technology for access control. And given that BioConnect recently became a sponsor member of the FIDO Alliance, it’s fair to expect more major integrations to come.
