“The NEXT One Touch Power SDK we’re jointly demonstrating this week with MTRIX is a tool we’re providing for our customers that allows them to quickly and easily create biometric products that emphasize their skills, creativity and technical prowess.” – Alain Faburel, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, NEXT Biometrics
Germany-based digital security consultancy MTRIX is showcasing NEXT Biometrics technology at this year’s IT Security Expo and Congress (ITSA) in Nuremberg this week.
NEXT is there, too, of course. The companies are together showing off the NEXT One Touch Power Software Development Kit, a platform supporting development on Android, Linux, and Windows, and aimed primarily at facilitating the development of fingerprint biometrics. Proprietary and ISO 19794-2-compliant templates are supported, as well as both one-to-one and one-t0-many authentication systems.
In a statement announcing the ITSA showcase, NEXT Biometrics sales head Alain Faburel explained that the NEXT One Touch Power SDK is part of an effort to offer customers “whatever assistance they need” to facilitate the implementation of NEXT Biometrics’ Active Thermal fingerprint sensor technology.
MTRIX CEO Malte Kahrs, meanwhile, credited NEXT Biometrics for its “industry-leading biometric sensor technology,” adding, “To now provide our joint customers with yet another tool to aid development of leading-edge biometric solutions is a real advantage.”
ITSA 2018 runs from October 9th to 11th, with NEXT showcasing from the MTRIX booth, #10.0-212 in Hall 10. MTRIX is NEXT’s exclusive distributor in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
