MorphoTrak has appointed a new member of its executive team. Teresa Wu is the company’s new Director of Strategic Marketing and Government Relations.
Wu brings considerable credentials to the role. Coming to MorphoTrak from a position as 3M Cogent’s Global Software Solutions Marketing Director, she holds International Management degrees from the Newcastle School of Management and the Montpellier Sup de Co Group Business School. She’s also involved in a number of relevant business associations including the IBIA Privacy and Policy Working Group, the Integrated Justice Information Systems (IJIS) Institute Law Enforcement Imaging Technology Committee, and the Secure Identity and Biometrics Association (SIBA) Airport Entry and Exit Re-engineering (AEER) Working Group; and she’s the International Association of Identification (IAI) European division’s Vice President.
It’s clear that MorphoTrak has sought out a spectacularly well-qualified individual for the role, and for good reason. A subsidiary of Morpho (Safran), MorphoTrak does a lot of business with government agencies. The company’s NIST-certified biometric technology is used in the FBI’s Next Generation Identification system, and its mobile fingerprint scanners are used by a number of law enforcement agencies. Managing these government client relationships is undoubtedly a complex task, but it’s one for which Teresa Wu seems well-equipped.
