OT-Morpho Launches MorphoTop Slim Fingerprint Scanner at FedID

The MorphoTop Slim can capture ten fingerprints, rolled or flat, in under two seconds.

OT-Morpho has announced a new fingerprint scanning device offering a compact form thanks to a design based on Thin-Film Transistor technology.

Called the MorphoTop Slim, it can capture ten fingerprints rolled or flat, and can do so in under two seconds, the company says. It’s FBI IQS Appendix F certified, and is designed to operate in conjunction with the MorphoESA enrollment solution.

In a statement, OT-Safran emphasized its applications in the areas of “border control, police investigations, mass enrollment or e-KYC”.

The company officially launched its solution at this week’s FedID event in Washington, where numerous representatives from potential clients in the government sector will likely be keen to get a look at the device.
