The solution was submitted for consideration by MorphoTrak during the 2014 New Product Showcase (NPS), held by the association at ISC West earlier this month in Las Vegas.
“The award winners in SIA’s New Product Showcase at ISC West present the industry’s leading-edge security solutions,” says Don Erickson, CEO of the Security Industry Association. “These technologies and solutions are moving the security industry forward, and I congratulate MorphoTrak on their win at this year’s NPS.”
Morpho attributes the win to a number of features encapsulated by the SIGMA series reader, which is a versatile two factor biometric access control solution. Notably, the MorphoAccess SIGMA offers 12 years worth of legacy enrollment support, providing backwards compatibility with Morpho and Bioscrypt created databases. This allows for easy deployment, attacking the adoption barrier of administrative friction.
The award winning reader also features highly louded fingerprint algorithms, a rich an easy to use interface, the ability to use it as an intercom and wide ranging support for NFC, iClass, Prox, MiFare Plus and DESFire.
Peter O’Neill, president of findBIOMETRICS was at IFC West, camera in tow, and was able to catch up with Gary Jones, director of biometric Access and time solutions at MorphoTrak. In addition to demonstrating Morpho’s mobile solutions and showing off new capabilities in Finger on the Fly technology, Jones walks us through the use of MorphoAccess SIGMA in our exclusive video.
