MeReal Biometrics has established a new partnership that could help to extend the market reach of its biometric smart card solution: The company has teamed up with EuroStation.
In a statement announcing the partnership, MeReal Biometrics described its new partner as a “leading French access control and security solution provider” that has delivered its solutions to “hotel groups, casinos and television production companies”. Founded in 2005, EuroStation is headed by founder and CEO Eric Perrein.
EuroStation is headquartered in La Rochelle on France’s Southwest Coast, not far from the Pleinair Casino, where MeReal’s V2 biometric card was deployed for employee access control last year. The card features fingerprint sensor technology provided by Fingerprint Cards, and algorithm software from Precise Biometrics.
Commenting on the EuroStation partnership, MeReal Biometrics chairman Patrick Partouche framed it as an excellent means to an end. “EuroStation has its own partnerships with well-known distributors and an impressive list of B2B customers, many with expanding global operations,” he said. “Now we have our foot in the door and will work our way up.”
