LumenVox Picks up Frost & Sullivan Technology Leadership Award

Frost & Sullivan has named LumenVox as one of the top players in the speech recognition industry. The firm has presented LumenVox with its Enabling Technology Leadership Award for 2021, and is specifically recognizing the company for its contributions to the contact center industry in North America.

According to Frost & Sullivan, the annual award acknowledges a company at the forefront of its industry. In practical terms, that means that the recipient has developed some kind of new technology that improves its existing portfolio, and that has the potential to inform the development of new products moving forward.

In that regard, LumenVox is best known for its robust voice portfolio, which includes a wide range of biometric and non-biometric software offerings. On the biometric front, the company’s voice recognition tech can be deployed in a customer-facing contact center to enable both active and passive authentication. The technology allows businesses to identify customers in a more seamless fashion, and does so while minimizing the threat of fraud.

The LumenVox platform has additional speech recognition, transcription, and natural language understanding capabilities, all of which can help automate the contact center experience and reduce the administrative burden on employees. The company also offers call progress analysis and text-to-speech technology to further streamline contact center operations.
