“Money20/20’s global conference series is responsible for facilitating some of the most crucial conversations in financial ID.”
FindBiometrics is heading to Amsterdam next week for Europe’s biggest financial services and FinTech conference: Money20/20 Europe. Running June 3-5 at The RAI, this year’s show features more than 350 speakers accounting for over 70 hours of content, spread across seven stages, and FindBiometrics’ Director of Digital Content, Susan Stover will be reporting on it live, bringing you daily coverage of the biometrics and digital identity news.
For the last half-decade, since the mobile biometric revolution kicked off with Apple’s Touch ID, payments and financial services have represented the edge of innovation for strong authentication and biometry. Money20/20’s global conference series is responsible for facilitating some of the most crucial conversations in financial ID. This year, digital identity is expected to play a part in the industry buzz yet again thanks to the major trends affecting the region: advent of biometric payment cards, the booming mobile ID verification market, and the impact of regulations such as PSD2 and GDPR.
This year the Europe show’s content is centered around five main stories reflecting key interdisciplinary themes in finance. In a recent interview with FindBiometrics, the event’s content director Pat Patel explained these stories as: game changing innovation for incumbent financial players; the effect of increased M&A in payments and financial services; the interplay between cloud, blockchain, quantum computing and other emerging tech; a critical and grounded assessment of open banking; and the inter-vertical market movement of FinTechs.
