VSBLTY has teamed up with KLA Laboratories in an effort to expand its clientele. The arrangement will add VSBLTY to the KLArity Ecosystem Partners Platform, which helps third parties select and implement new technologies in their own facilities. The partnership will make VSBLTY’s VisionCaptor and DataCaptor software more readily available to KLA customers.
“KLA Laboratories is a lead player in the development, deployment and management of complex arena systems dedicated to audio visual, digital display and advanced analytics,” said VSBLTY Co-founder and CEO Jay Hutton. “They are the perfect partner for us as we expand our footprint into these markets.”
VSBLTY’s VisionCaptor and DataCaptor platforms provide customers with interactive digital displays with computer vision and machine learning capabilities. Venue operators can deploy the technology to observe and analyze people’s behavior patterns at a given location, and make decisions based on that information. The company also offers facial and object recognition technology that can be used for venue security.
“VSBLTY delivers guest experience enhancement, audience measurement and security applications while providing an easy way to achieve ROI or revenue offset. We see it as a valuable addition to our Platform and to the partners we serve,” added KLA Arenas & Venues VP Shawn Kuzmin. “Our clients have been asking for a way to monetize new technologies to offset costs and we are confident that we’ve found the right partner.”
The announcement comes shortly after VSBLTY’s 2020 CEO update, and suggests that Hutton was right to think that the second quarter would be a strong one for the company. VSBLTY has recently been targeting retailers after forming a reseller agreement with Sensormatic Solutions, and is also looking forward to more smart city deployments based on the success of its surveillance program in Mexico City.
The Mexico City program is being carried out in collaboration with Energetika.
