Keyless has announced the availability of its multi-factor facial biometrics solution on the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. The privacy-preserving biometric authentication service integrates with Microsoft Azure Active Directory B2C and Microsoft Entra ID to provide enhanced security and user experience within the Azure cloud platform, joining other leading biometrics providers like Jumio in the Azure ecosystem.
The solution features passive liveness detection and processes biometric authentication in under 300 milliseconds across devices. A key differentiator is that it does not store biometric data on users’ devices or in the cloud, instead using the company’s patented technology that breaks biometric data into “shards” for enhanced privacy and security while ensuring compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations.
Organizations purchasing Keyless through the Azure Marketplace can apply the cost toward their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC). The company participated in Microsoft’s Pegasus program for innovative independent software vendors, receiving technical mentorship and go-to-market support.
“We’re thrilled to expand our footprint through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace as we continue to scale rapidly,” said Andrea Carmignani, Co-Founder and CEO at Keyless. “This collaboration will also enhance the procurement experience for our prospects while helping them reduce their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment.”
“We welcome Keyless to Azure Marketplace, where global customers can find, try, and buy from among thousands of partner solutions,” said Jake Zborowski, General Manager, Microsoft Azure Platform at Microsoft Corp. “Thanks to trusted partners like Keyless, Azure Marketplace is part of a cloud marketplace landscape offering flexibility and economic value while transacting tens of billions of dollars a year in revenues.”
Keyless has established itself in the biometric authentication space as the first vendor to achieve both FIDO Biometric and FIDO2 certifications. The company’s Zero-Knowledge Biometrics technology represents a decentralized approach to authentication, processing biometric data without storing it—a methodology that has gained traction as concerns about centralized biometric data storage grow.
The company has developed implementations for various use cases, including educational institutions and enterprise employee login systems, where it has replaced traditional password-based authentication with facial biometrics. The Azure Marketplace launch follows Keyless’ recent expansion into the financial services sector through its integration with the Temenos Exchange, further broadening its market reach.
