Jumio has won two Golden Bridge Awards in recognition of its Netverify authentication solution. The company took a Bronze award in the category of “Security Solution for Enterprise (Large) Innovations”, and a Gold award in “Access Compliance and Risk Management Innovations”, with judges evidently appreciating the platform’s utility for easy customer authentication and onboarding. Netverify revolves around the use of facial recognition and document reading to let end users confirm their identities on mobile devices or desktop computers.
The Golden Bridge Awards is an annual event created “to honor and generate industry wide recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and businesses worldwide in every area,” according to the organization’s website. The description adds that the trophies themselves are “made by the same company that makes the actual Oscar” and other high-profile awards.
Commenting on Jumio’s win in a statement, Golden Bridge Awards founder San Madan asserted that the company “impressed the judges in the Innovations in Information Technology and Security categories,” adding, “Innovative solutions in cybersecurity are critical requirements for enterprises of all sizes everywhere in the world.”
News of the award comes less than a week after Jumio’s announcement that it had won the Overall ID Management Solution of the Year Award in the 2018 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards, and in the wake of a string of other industry accolades.
