Jumio has been named a winner in two categories of the 2023 Globee Cybersecurity Awards, a program that invites competitors to make their best case for their solutions while seeking recommendations from industry experts, customers, partners, and any other stakeholders to back up their claims. Jumio took Gold in the category of “Authentication (Single, Two-Factor, Multi, or Cloud Based) Solution”, as well as silver in “Best Security Solution (New or Updated version)”.
Jumio was honored in the awards program for its KYX solution. First unveiled in 2020, KYX – which stands for ‘Know Your Everything‘ – is designed to provide end-to-end identity verification enabling organizations to confirm the identities of their customers, partners, contractors, and any other entity involved in their business. The platform prominently features selfie-based biometrics supported by liveness detection technology.
“The Jumio KYX Platform empowers organizations to detect fraud faster and with greater accuracy to reduce business impact while maintaining customer trust,” said Jumio CEO Robert Prigge. “These wins further demonstrate Jumio’s commitment to its promise of eradicating online identity fraud and accelerating digital trust for all.”
This isn’t the first time Jumio’s KYC platform has won awards in a Globee program. Last year, it took a Gold trophy in the fraud prevention category of the “Cyber Security Global Excellence Awards“, and a Silver award in the category of AI in security.
For Jumio, KYX has been paying off not only in terms of industry awards and acclaim, but in brisk business, as well. The company kicked off 2023 with a fiscal update in which it reported “well over $200 million in bookings” in 2022. The company also noted that the fourth quarter featured the closing of its biggest deal yet.
