“The industry recognition appears to reflect growing market enthusiasm for Jumio’s technology as more businesses recognize the advantages of biometric and document-reading technology in facilitating remote, mobile-based identity verification.”
Jumio has won yet another industry award for its Netverify mobile biometric authentication platform. The company was named the winner in the “Mobile Trailblazers Award” of the 2017 Tech Trailblazers, an open, startup-focused awards program launched in 2012.
The award’s announcement comes immediately after another win on Jumio’s part in the 2018 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, and after other industry plaudits bestowed last year. Acknowledging the award in a statement, Jumio CEO Stephen Stuut said, “We are honored that the Tech Trailblazers recognized Jumio with the ‘Mobile’ award for our cutting-edge Netverify solution,” adding that Netverify features sophisticated technology “including liveness detection, blur detection, and a bunch of automation that ensures that we deliver a great customer experience during the online identity verification process.”
The industry recognition appears to reflect growing market enthusiasm for Jumio’s technology as more businesses recognize the advantages of biometric and document-reading technology in facilitating remote, mobile-based identity verification. In its recent Q4 update, Jumio asserted that it had seen 96 percent year-over-year jump in recurring revenues and a 176 percent increase in sales; and just this month, the company announced two new clients and the opening of a new Singapore office to better serve the APAC market.
