Jumio has made an important addition to its executive team, announcing Anna Convery as its Chief Marketing Officer.
In a statement, the biometric onboarding specialist highlighted Convery’s experience in the tech world, describing a marketing career that spanned the areas of “cybersecurity, AML, fraud, robotic process automation, voice analytics, biometrics, enterprise customer experience and customer journey analytics”. Convery has been listed as a “Woman of the Year in Technology” by Women in Technology’s Georgia chapter.
Convery comes to the company after serving as Chief Marketing Officer for the cybersecurity specialist Radware, a position she held from November of 2016 until June of this year. Before that, she held senior marketing positions with OpenSpan, NICE Systems, ClickFox, and Nexidia, among other firms.
“I am so proud to welcome Anna to the team,” commented Jumio CEO Robert Prigge. “It’s because of Jumio’s position as a leader in the digital identity market that we’re able to continuously attract top-caliber talent across all functions, from sales and marketing to technology, innovation and customer experience.”
The company is indeed enjoying a particularly high profile midway through 2021. Jumio recently revealed that it had seen a 150 percent year-over-year increase in sales for the second quarter.
For her part, Convery expressed excitement about becoming a member of what she described as Jumio’s “world-class leadership team”, adding that she wants to use her position to help make the internet a safer place. “I very much look forward to working with Jumio’s extensive and ever-growing network of customers and partners,” she said.
