Jenetric has announced a new version of its flagship fingerprint scanning solution. Dubbed Livetouch Quattro Mobile, it’s a handheld device that requires no computer connection.
In addition to its ability to simultaneously capture four fingerprints, Livetouch Quattro Mobile can scan documents and eSignatures, too. Data can be transmitted wirelessly to a laptop or tablet, and Jenetric says the device is resistant to scratches, water, dust, and bright sunlight, making it ideal for outdoor deployments.
The German company will showcase the Livetouch Quattro Mobile at next week’s FedID 2017 expo in Washington, where its establishment of a new US-based subsidiary this year should help Jenetric to establish contacts with prospective clients. Alongside its Livetouch Quattro Mobile solution, Jenetric says it will showcase an upgraded version of its Livetouch Quattro Compact device, which now supports both Android and Windows.
FedID runs from September 12th to 14th in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
