“The establishment of the subsidiary is another sign of the company’s growth, with JENETRIC claiming a 27 percent staffing increase in 2016.”
German fingerprint biometrics specialist JENETRIC GmbH has announced its establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary aimed at dealing specifically with the American market.
In a statement announcing the expansion JENETRIC revealed that the subsidiary will be headed by Holger Mackenthun, who led NEC Corporation of America’s US government-focused biometrics sales team. Commenting on the move, JENETRIC CEO Roberto Wolfer said, “More and more customers in the US are asking for our products and expect first-class on-site support.”
The establishment of the subsidiary is another sign of the company’s growth, with JENETRIC claiming a 27 percent staffing increase in 2016. It’s also in part the result of a third round of funding into which the company entered toward the end of last year as it sought further expansion.
In keeping with JENETRIC’s new focus on the US market, representatives from the company are on hand at this week’s Connect:ID conference to showcase their LIVETOUCH quattro and LIVETOUCH quattro Compact fingerprint readers to attendees.
