ISC West may have been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but key components of its agenda remain intact.
For our part, FindBiometrics continues to work with our premier partner in efforts to highlight important issues pertaining to identity, security, and biometrics in the enterprise. While industry professionals await the rescheduled ISW West’s return in July, we will deliver co-branded featured coverage and dedicated podcasts through our ID Talk channel.
Included in the latter will be an in-depth talk that had originally been scheduled for the live event in Las Vegas. Titled, “Understanding Security, Convenience and Privacy in Biometrics Systems“, the discussion will delve into best practices concerning biometrics in the workplace at a time of rapid regulatory change.
Several experts will be on hand to discuss the issues: BioConnect CEO Rob Douglas, IDEMIA VP of Global Channel & Marketing Gary Jones, Paravision Chief Product Officer Joey Pritikin, and renowned Acuity Market Intelligence analyst Maxine Most. Susan Stover, the VP of Digital Content at FindBiometrics and Mobile ID World, will be the discussion’s moderator.
The podcast discussion will be hitting the ID Talk feed in the coming weeks, helping to keep the biometrics industry’s conversation going at a time when in-person events have been cancelled and physical workplaces are closed. ISC West itself, meanwhile, is currently slated to return July 20th, running through July 22nd in Las Vegas.
