Iris ID Systems has announced a third integration in preparation for this week’s ISC West conference and exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yesterday we brought news of the iris biometrics technology provider’s partnerships with DAQ Electronics and SekureID, today findBIOMETRICS is going to take a look at yet another integration: Will-Burt Company’s LINX Command and Control System.
Will-Burt Company has certified Iris ID’s IrisAccess 7000 series as an integrated solution compatible with LINX.
“We have a strong relationship with Will-Burt and are very pleased that our new devices are going to be part of their integrated solution,” says Charles Koo, president and CEO of Iris ID. “Based on our field-proven IrisAccess systems, the worlds most advanced and deployed iris recognition platform, the new generation is designed to meet increased need for speed, accuracy, and value in today’s demanding biometric identification market. We are committed to set the industry standard for iris recognition technology.”
“The versatile and easily- integrated Iris ID iCAM 7000 series Iris Recognition reader solution is an important contribution to the LINX access control platform,” adds Jim Wenck, vice president and general manager of LINX security solutions. “The Iris ID Iris Recognition Reader offers the maximum protection, versatility, simple operation, and cost efficiency that we need in our security management system.”
Last week, findBIOMETRICS president Peter O’Neill had a chance to speak with Mohammed Murad, Iris ID’s vice president of sales. The interview touches on a number of Iris ID products and deployments, particularly the company’s involvement with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), and the IrisAccess D1000 Cam which was released late last year.
Iris ID will be manning booth #17115 at ISC West this week. To learn more about the new integrations announced this past week, as well as the many ways that iris biometrics can be applied to physical access control, be sure to stop by.
