Iris ID Enrollment Tech Integrated Into Honeywell Pro-Watch Platform

Iris ID has just announced another big new integration of its iris recognition technology: Its iCAM 7S system is now compatible with the latest version of Honeywell Pro-Watch, an access control platform. While the Pro-Watch platform has long supported Iris ID’s IrisAccess biometric access control, the iCAM 7S support delivers a new enrollment solution to the mix.

The news comes less than two weeks after Iris ID’s announcement that its iCAM 7S had been integrated into AMAG Technology’s Symmetry Enterprise access control platform, and its news that its iCAM R100 system had been integrated into smart locker and cabinet solutions from Real Time Networks. All of which suggests strong momentum for Iris ID’s biometric technology in the area of commercial access control.

And in a statement announcing the integration, Honeywell Building Technologies executive Marcus Logan indicated that his company is promoting Iris ID’s technology effectively. “The Iris ID product is now part of our price book, making it easy for our integrators and dealers to order,” he said.
