“We are excited to work with the Symmetry Enterprise team to create a seamless solution for large enterprise organizations requiring the extra security afforded by two-factor identity authentication.” – Mohammed Murad, VP Sales and Business Development, Iris ID
Biometric technology from Iris ID has now been integrated into AMAG Technology’s Symmetry Enterprise access control platform.
The addition of support for Iris ID’s iCAM 7S enrollment process means that Symmetry users can “seamlessly enroll employees for a second layer of authentication at key entry points,” as Iris ID explained in a statement announcing the integration. The company added that its iCAM 7S solution stores employees’ biometric data separately from biographic data stored on AMAG’s system, helping to further protect the sensitive data against potential breaches.
Commenting on the integration in a statement, Iris ID sales and business development VP Mohammed Murad said, “We are excited to work with the Symmetry Enterprise team to create a seamless solution for large enterprise organizations requiring the extra security afforded by two-factor identity authentication.”
News of the integration arrives on the heels of Iris ID’s announcement that its iCAM R100 facial and iris scanner had been integrated into Mentalix’s Fed Submit, a live scan platform designed to interface with the FBI’s biometric databases, signalling a rising profile for Iris ID across the enterprise and government sectors.
Iris ID says it will demonstrate its iCAM technology at next week’s 2018 Global Security Exchange, which will run from September 25th to 27th at the Los Vegas Convention Center. The company will showcase its solutions from booth 2977.
