“…the companies said their solution will deliver ‘a powerful mix of technology that provides site attendants and security personnel with cutting-edge biometric access management tools with minimal capital investment.'”
Ipsidy has teamed up with Ayonix Face Technologies to integrate the latter’s biometric technology into its Access by Ipsidy security platform.
The collaboration is aimed at developing an access control and venue security solution revolving around biometric surveillance through IP cameras. Ayonix’s FaceID Software will be used to scan video feeds, and individuals identified through the system will be matched against ‘Authorized’, ‘Unknown’, and ‘Watch’ lists defined by the client organizations deploying the solution.
The collaboration is only just beginning, with Ipsidy and Ayonix having signed a Summary of Terms agreement. The companies say that they expect to launch their combined solution early next year.
In a statement announcing the collaboration, the companies said their solution will deliver “a powerful mix of technology that provides site attendants and security personnel with cutting-edge biometric access management tools with minimal capital investment.”
Ayonix and Ipsidy will jointly exhibit at the ISC East security exhibition next week, where they will provide demos of their combined technology. The event runs from November 14th to 15th in New York City.
