Toronto-based Invixium will showcase its IXM Titan biometric terminal at this year’s ISC West, the company has announced.
First unveiled a little over a year ago at the Intersec conference in Dubai, the biometric terminal offers a range of applications including access control, video surveillance, and intercom. It features a 5″ LCD touchscreen sporting 1080p resolution, and made of strong Corning Gorilla Glass. Facial recognition is the terminal’s primary biometric modality, but it also supports fingerprint and finger vein recognition.
Under the hood, the terminal runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, and uses an Adreno 530 GPU. Its primary camera is 21MP and allows for 4K video capture, and its fingerprint scanning functionality is supported by one of two options – a Lumidigm sensor with built-in liveness detection, or a FIPS201/PIV certified SecuGen fingerprint sensor. And IP67-rated water resistance means it can operates in outdoor, rainy conditions.
Invixium will showcase the solution from booth #6109 at ISC West 2018. FindBiometrics will be sure to drop by as we report live from the industry event, which runs from April 10th to 13th in Las Vegas.
