Access control solutions company Open Options and Toronto-based touchless biometrics specialist Invixium have announced a partnership that will see Invixium’s biometric solutions offered to Open Options’ network of access control customers.
The integration of Open Options’ DNA Fusion access control software with Invixium’s IXM WEB enterprise software platform will allow for the automatic synchronization of cardholder data between the two databases, allowing Open Option’s customers to seamlessly install and use Invixium’s solutions.
“Organizations are aggressively moving toward the idea of the consolidated, secure enterprise to reduce vulnerabilities and ensure safety, and part of this effort is integrating with emerging technologies that can advance security postures,” said Chuck O’Leary, the Vice President of Americas Access Control for ACRE, Open Options’ parent company. “Open Options integration with Invixium is designed to offer significant value to these entities, allowing them to manage their access control requirements in an integrated fashion that’s easy to manage and is proven to reduce costs.”
Being an open architecture platform, DNA Fusion is designed to simplify the access control industry by removing some of the limitations that are typical in deployments at the enterprise level, such as ease of personnel management and the ability to set use limits and control access privileges.
With DNA Fusion, stakeholders gain access to vital data when they need it by being able to monitor several systems including a number of audio and IP video recordings through a common interface.
This is the latest development in what has been a strong several months for Invixium. A few months following the June 2020 announcement that the company was opening a new U.S. headquarters in Norwalk, CT, a distribution agreement with Lenel S2 was revealed that now sees Invixium’s contactless biometric solutions available on the OnGuard and NetBox VAR channels.
“Our integration with Open Options marks our thirteenth ACM integration,” said Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President at Invixium. “Extending our ecosystem allows us to offer healthy access to a wider range of businesses. We are proud to partner with organizations with common synergies and shared values such as our mutual commitment to quality and innovation.”
