Invixium has unveiled its new Enterprise Series, introducing two biometric access control devices aimed at the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market. The launch follows the company’s recent expansion of its IXM WEB 3.0 platform and represents a strategic move to bring enterprise-grade biometric security to smaller organizations.
The IXM ROSTO, one of the new offerings, combines facial recognition and card authentication capabilities. Its technical specifications include dual cameras, a 5″ IPS LCD touchscreen, and multiple connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, BLE, and NFC. The device incorporates liveness detection technology to prevent spoofing attempts and supports various authentication methods including RFID, mobile credentials, and QR codes.
Complementing the ROSTO is the IXM TOUCH 3, which specializes in fingerprint authentication. This device features a 3.5″ touchscreen and an FBI-certified fingerprint sensor, building on Invixium’s established expertise in biometric access control solutions. Both units carry IP65 durability ratings and integrate with major access control panels through IXM LINK.
“We want Small to Medium Businesses to experience Invixium the same way our Industrial customers have,” explained Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President of Invixium. “These products are priced to be extremely competitive and purposely designed with relevant features for the SMB market.” Kapadia has been instrumental in driving Invixium’s expansion, particularly in promoting touchless biometric solutions since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The company has also enhanced its integration with Galaxy Control Systems, specifically through its IXM WEB 3.0 platform’s compatibility with System Galaxy v11.8.5. This integration enables unified biometric and access control management, featuring automated face enrollment and personalized door access control. The enhancement follows Invixium’s addition of enterprise visitor management capabilities to the IXM WEB platform last year.
In a separate development, Invixium has established a partnership with Saudi Aramco through a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The agreement aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, the kingdom’s ambitious modernization program, and the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) program, involving plans for a local office and production facility in Saudi Arabia.
“Saudi Arabia is our largest market thanks to strategic customers like Saudi Aramco,” said Kapadia. “Aligned with the goals of the IKTVA Program and Saudi Vision 2030, we are committed to deepening our presence in the region by establishing our office and a production/assembly facility in the Kingdom in the foreseeable future. This will enable us to locally manufacture our biometric solutions, generate employment opportunities, and develop biometric innovation and engineering expertise in the region.”
The Enterprise Series is available for preorder, with shipments scheduled to begin March 31, 2025.
