Intercede Secures at Least $4.2M in New Digital Identity Contracts

UK-based Intercede has announced a series of new licence wins and renewals in its third fiscal quarter (FY26) worth at least $4.2 million, reinforcing its position in high-assurance credential management for government and defence customers. In a regulatory news statement, the company says the total includes a large US federal government order for its MyID Credential Management System (CMS) worth around $1.5 million in licence sales plus associated support and maintenance. That deployment is now evaluating additional device types, including USB tokens and FIDO passkeys alongside traditional PKI credentials.

Intercede has also landed a major MyID CMS licence order via a systems integrator for a new government end-client in Asia, valued at about $630,000 with more than five years of support, development and professional services attached. The package includes a subscription to MyID SecureVault over a five-year period. A further add-on licence order, worth roughly $180,000 including two years of support, has been placed for another Asian government agency through an existing integrator partner.

On the renewal side, the US Department of State has signed an annual support and maintenance extension for its G-IDMS deployment valued at about $1.15 million, and an Asian government agency has agreed a two-year support renewal totalling around $190,000. Intercede has also booked approximately $300,000 in professional services to supply subject-matter experts for a significant US Army deployment in the Middle East, plus a $220,000 professional services order with the Department of State for continued MyID CMS maintenance.

Chief executive Klaas van der Leest said the orders demonstrate the effectiveness of Intercede’s partnership-driven sales model, even as some markets continue to experience delays in contract awards. For enterprise and government buyers, the update underscores ongoing demand for high-assurance credential management that can bridge PKI, FIDO passkeys and other authenticators within a single lifecycle platform.

The company has previously integrated biometric technology from Aware into its MyID solution to strengthen identity assurance for government and enterprise customers.
