Intellicheck Enters Wealth Management Through Channel Partner Deployment

Identity verification vendor Intellicheck has moved into wealth management, with a recently signed channel partner deploying its technology at one of the world’s largest investment management companies.

The investment manager itself is not named in the announcement. Under the deployment, Intellicheck’s technology screens prospective customers during digital account opening, verifying identity at the point new accounts are created and funded rather than after the fact. The arrangement runs through Intellicheck’s channel-partner model, in which partners build the company’s identity verification technology into their own platforms and deploy it to their own enterprise clients, rather than Intellicheck selling and integrating directly with each customer.

“We continue to see strong momentum from our partnership strategy as a growing number of high-value sectors recognize the need for stronger, real-time identity verification,” said Intellicheck CEO Bryan Lewis. “This deployment with one of the world’s leading investment management companies demonstrates both the strength of our channel partnership program and the growing demand for solutions capable of stopping increasingly sophisticated fraud attempts without adding friction to the customer experience.” Lewis said deployments like this one reflect a broader strategy of expanding into additional verticals to capture more of the company’s addressable market.

Intellicheck’s verification technology checks a driver’s license or state ID against the issuing DMV’s own records, rather than only inspecting the physical document for signs of tampering, and the company offers both digital and physical versions of that check. It says it processes identity transactions for close to half the adult population of the United States and Canada each year, with 99.975 percent decisioning accuracy in under a second.

The wealth management push follows a run of product and financial milestones for the company. Earlier this year Intellicheck launched a no-integration desktop verification app aimed at businesses that want identity checks without a system integration project, and separately reported its first year of operating profitability, on record fiscal 2025 revenue of $22.7 million. Wealth management is the latest addition to a customer base the company says already spans a wide range of sectors.
