Integrated Biometrics (IB) has made another addition to its executive team. The company has announced that Daniel Molina will be taking over as the new Vice President of Business Development. The news comes just over a month after Demian Bigelow signed on as IB’s new Vice President of Engineering.
As VP, Molina will be expected to continue to drive sales in the new geographical regions that IB has entered in the past few years. The company recently opened its first office in South Africa and expanded its facilities in South Korea, and has credited its evolving international footprint for its impressive 50 percent year-over-year growth in 2019.
Molina will also be asked to search for new market opportunities for existing IB identity technologies, including the company’s Light-Emitting Sensor (LES) film.
“The UN’s Sustainable Development Goal to guarantee a unique identity for every citizen is going to increase demand as the requirement to ‘know your customer’ expands into more industries,” said Molina.
“We’re already seeing significant new markets and opportunities open up, and Dan is exactly the person we need to bring those things to fruition,” added IB Executive Vice President David Gerulski.
Molina arrives at IB after previous stops at Kaspersky Labs and McAfee, where he helped develop the McAfee Risk Management Process as the company’s Director of Advanced Solutions and as a Security Evangelist.
