San Francisco-based Inference Solutions, maker of Intelligent Virtual Agents (IVA), has announced the newest version of its Inference Studio platform including the new Verbatim Audio feature for tuning speech recognition and task automation.
With Inference Studio 6.5, users can build and manage IVA applications to help them with customer engagement as well as tasks like order lookups, credit card payments or frequently asked questions for voice, SMS WhatsApp and web-based chatbots.
“Recent events have demonstrated the importance of being responsive – to your customers and to sudden changes that impact your business,” said Callan Schebella, Inference Solutions CEO. “Studio 6.5 will allow any business to ramp up their self-service capabilities, increase efficiency and readiness with automation, and assist customers whenever and wherever they need it.”
The new Verbatim Audio feature allows raw call utterances to be used to tune speech recognition, and all IVA tasks developed using Inference Studio can take advantage of a number of conversational AI engines incudling Google DialogFlow, IBM Watson and Amazon Lex.
Studio users also have access — via the Google Text-to-Speech service — to more than 180 voices across 30 languages, can identify a voiceprint via ArmorVox voice biometrics, and can analyze sentiment in real-time using the Watson Tone Analyzer service.
