Incode is bringing on a new Vice President of Business Development to help grow the market for its identity technology. Allen Ganz joins Incode following a stint at NEC, where he was able to secure several high-profile deployments for the company’s biometric technology as a leading member of its strategic alliances and enterprise sales team.
Ganz will be expected to produce similar results as the Business Development VP at Incode. The company is specifically hoping that Ganz will be able to guide its strategic growth, and unearth (and pursue) new partnership opportunities in multiple sectors. Incode is best known for its biometric authentication tech. Ganz will cultivate relationships with new and existing partners, and enter into reseller arrangements to expand the client base for the company’s solutions.
In time, that strategy should translate to increased adoption rates with potential clients. Ganz himself has spent most of his career in the realm of digital identity, working with the facial recognition developer Visionics before moving on to NEC (Visionics would eventually go on to become part of what is now IDEMIA). Ganz has also offered voluntary advice to Israeli start-ups to help them obtain seed and series A funding.
“We are excited to bring Allen on board at a time when digital identity technology is hitting its stride,” said Incode CEO Ricardo Amper. “Allen will focus on facilitating relationships with partnerships that are core to our strategy, enabling a broader set of use cases while expanding our reach and how we support our customers.”
“I am excited to join Incode at such a pivotal time in the evolution of digital identity,” added Ganz. “Acceptance is at an all-time high, driven by consumer demand for frictionless and secure experiences everywhere we go and in everything we do. I look forward to working together to drive growth and help the company realize its full potential.”
Incode raised $25 million in its own round of Series A funding back in March of 2021. The company has since modified its facial recognition tech for use in large entertainment venues, arguing that biometrics can help people get to their seats more quickly.
