ImageWare has won the 2017 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation.
In a statement announcing the award, the growth consultancy explained that each year it is bestowed to “the company that has demonstrated excellence in devising a strong growth strategy and robustly implementing it.” Frost & Sullivan lauded ImageWare for its “strength in terms of innovation in products and technologies, leadership in customer value, as well as speed in response to market needs.”
Frost & Sullivan went on to highlight ImageWare solutions like the GoVerifyID multimodal biometric authentication platform and the GoVerifyID Enterprise Suite, as well as the IWS Biometric Engine that is central to its authentication capability. It also looked ahead to the emergence of the Internet of Things, with Industry Analyst Ram Ravi asserting that as the IoT fosters “increased threats from various forms of hacking… ImageWare Systems consistently take a proactive approach to ensure proper shielding and secure access control is provided to its customers.”
The award announcement comes soon after ImageWare partnered with American Biometric Solutions on a new healthcare communications app called pillphone, and as it showcases its SAP HANA Cloud Platform integration at this week’s Mobile World Congress event.
