CA Technologies has now integrated ImageWare‘s multimodal biometric system, GoVerifyID, into its Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management offerings.
It’s the culmination of a partnership first embarked upon in early 2015, and brings biometric authentication options to CA Technologies’ enterprise customers, a considerable value proposition as biometric authentication becomes increasingly popular. In a statement announcing the integration, CA Technologies SVP Dipto Chakravarty said it “confirms our commitment to providing the strongest options in identity and access management, authentication and privileged access management to our customers.”
The announcement arrives just ahead of ImageWare’s corporate update for the second quarter of this year, scheduled for publication tomorrow. It isn’t clear if the partnership in question will have impacted ImageWare’s Q2 earnings, but at the very least it should help its outlook for the months ahead; commenting on the integration, ImageWare CEO Jim Miller said his team is “honored to collaborate with this world-class enterprise software company”.
ImageWare is also sponsoring CA Technologies’ CA World 2016 tech event, which will take place this November in Las Vegas.
