“It is widely anticipated that fans are going to expect venues to modernize their facilities and the entire fan experience. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to attend IIFX’s conference and expo and get ahead of the curve.” – Dr. Lou Marciani, Director, & Co-founder, IIFX
The Innovation Institute for Fan Experience (IIFX) has announced a in-person conference that will focus on the innovation in sport and entertainment venues. Dubbed the “FANCENTRIC Conference & Expo”, the inaugural event will take place in Las Vegas this May.
The conference will tackle a number of topics pertinent to delivering a sports and entertainment experience that puts fans first, including important issues raised by the pandemic such as dealing with a transformed workforce and staff shortages, and adapting health and safety arrangements to address the new risk landscape. It will also delve into ways of improving in-venue fan experiences and building new business models.
Biometric technologies have had an increasingly important role to play in many of these areas in recent years. Organizations are starting to use biometrics for things like contactless venue access and even cashless purchases at concession stands. Biometrics, together with other innovations, stand to play an important role in transforming and upgrading the fan experience.
With that being the case, industry professionals may be interested in a 30 percent discount being offered to attendees by IIFX. “It is widely anticipated that fans are going to expect venues to modernize their facilities and the entire fan experience,” said IIFX Director and co-founder Dr. Lou Marciani. “Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to attend IIFX’s conference and expo and get ahead of the curve.”
The FANCENTRIC Conference & Expo is slated to run from May 24 to May 26 at Caesar’s Palace. More details about the event, including sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities, can be found on the FANCENTRIC website.
