Suprema will be at this week’s IFSEC 2016 conference where it will demonstrate its recently announced BioEntry W2 fingerprint access control device as well as the latest version of its BioStar 2 solution: BioStar TA. The conference runs June 21 to 23, and Suprema will be manning booth E1400.
“At IFSEC 2016, visitors to the show can look forward to experience Suprema’s innovation on biometrics devices, open-platform solutions that will benefit end-users as well as installers and integrators in the entire supply chain,” said Suprema vice president Young S. Moon in a company statement.
BioEntry W2 was announced by Suprema just last week. A fingerprint scanning access control solution that also features smart card functionality, the BioEntry W2 can manage the credentials of up to 500,000 users and match at speeds up to 150,000 profiles per second. Rugged housing makes the solution ideal for outdoor deployments, and it also features the anti-spoofing technology characteristic of Suprema’s second generation fingerprint terminals—such as the BioStation A2 and BioStation L2.
BioStar TA, meanwhile, combines biometric access control with comprehensive time and attendance functionality. An updated version of the BioStar 2 security platform, BioStar TA is flexible, allowing it to serve a diverse range of applications. It features time card, calendar view and overtime rule functions, presented with a user-friendly interface, simplifying the complex attendance tracking procedures it is capable of.
Suprema will be showcasing these solution alongside long time operating partner BioConnect, with which it will be sharing the exhibition stand this week. Just recently, Suprema announced that its hardware solutions are now fully compatible with BioConnect’s flagship identity management platform.
