Oxford-based time and attendance tracking solutions provider Thinking Software has integrated ievo’s fingerprint scanners into its Rota Horizon platform. Thinking Software’s flagship software can now directly connected to data from ievo Ultimate readers, enabling clients to bring biometric tracking to their workforce management systems.
In a statement announcing the partnership, Thinking Software Business Development Manager David Hambridge called ievo’s fingerprint readers “proven technology” that “normally provides state-of-the-art access control.” Commenting on the integrated solution, ievo Central Regional Manager Keri Feeney said it offers “a highly cost-effective solution for time and attendance data acquisition”, and emphasized that it can be used for multiple HR applications including holiday planning and payroll administration.
The addition of ievo technology to Thinking Software’s platform should help to further extend ievo’s already strong position in the UK market, where its technology is used not just for time and attendance tracking but also for access control, with a deployment at a major construction project announced just a couple of months ago.
