IDnow has launched the IDnow Trust Platform, a modular suite that combines identity verification, fraud prevention, biometric authentication, and qualified digital trust services for regulated organizations across Europe.
The platform is built around four service pillars: Identify, Authenticate, Protect, and Trust. Together, they are designed to move businesses beyond one-time Know Your Customer (KYC) checks toward what the Munich-based company calls Trust Your Customer (TYC), a model of continuous, evidence-based trust across the full customer lifecycle.
IDnow says the platform correlates identity, behavioral, device, and digital data in real time to support risk-based decisioning at each stage of a customer relationship. The approach is designed to counter increasingly sophisticated identity-related fraud driven by advances in generative AI.
The launch comes as Europe’s regulatory landscape for digital identity continues to evolve. The EU’s Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR) will introduce a harmonized anti-money laundering framework across the bloc from July 2027, while regulated businesses will be required to accept EU Digital Identity Wallets from November 2027. IDnow says the Trust Platform is positioned to help organizations meet both sets of requirements.
IDnow, which secured a majority investment from Corsair Capital in a $295 million deal in 2025, has been expanding its capabilities beyond traditional identity verification. The company partnered with Keyless to integrate biometric authentication across the digital identity lifecycle and gained certification as a Qualified Trust Service Provider under the EU’s eIDAS regulation through its joint venture with ESYSCO.
The Trust Platform consolidates these capabilities into a single orchestration layer. IDnow says clients can configure the platform to apply different levels of verification and authentication depending on the risk profile of a given transaction or customer interaction.
IDnow serves more than 1,000 customers across sectors including banking, insurance, telecommunications, and mobility.
