IDEX will take the opportunity of next month’s Consumer Electronics Show to showcase its latest fingerprint sensor technology to investors. The company has announced that it will host an ‘Investor presentation’ on January 10th.
The event will be hosted by members of IDEX’s executive leadership team: CEO Hemant Mardia, CFO Henrik Knudtzon, CTO Fred Benkley, and Chief Products Officer Stan Swearingen. It will focus heavily on what has become IDEX’s primary area of concern over recent months – biometric smart cards. In an ‘Investor Update’ held in November, IDEX executives indicated that it expects its partner Mastercard to bring the technology to market in early 2018, with IDEX aiming to attain a marketshare in excess of 30 percent by the end of 2020 as a supplier of biometric sensors for payment and smart cards. More recently, the company announced a new addition to its line of large-area, flexible sensors designed specifically for card applications.
In a statement announcing its investor presentation for CES, IDEX indicated that IDEX’s leadership will present the company’s business strategy, and will demonstrate its latest sensors. IDEX executives also plan to host individual meetings with potential investors throughout the event, which runs in Las Vegas from January 9th to 12th.
IDEX’s investor presentation will take place at the Sands Expo meeting hall in the Venetian Hotel from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time on January 10th.
