IDEMIA National Security Solutions is burnishing its executive team with a new appointment and two promotions.
The newcomer is Sandra Joyner Williams, who has taken on the role of Vice President of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community Operations. Before joining IDEMIA, Williams was a Growth & Strategy Account Executive at Parsons Corporation. She has also held senior roles at General Dynamics Information Technology, Intelligent Shift, and TASC, Inc., among other firms.
In a statement, IDEMIA NSS highlighted Williams “25 years of experience working with the DoD, intelligence communities and government organizations in the federal and civil arenas.” For her part, she said she is “looking forward to taking NSS capabilities into new markets and expand on their value propositions.”
As for promoted talent, Marg Schulenberg has been appointed to the role of Vice President of Security and Business Operations, while Mike Ronayne is taking on the new Vice President of Federal Civilian Operations.
Schulenberg already served as IDEMIA’s Facility Security Officer, a role in which she oversaw quality certification, contract support, and procurement. She will continue to manage these efforts under her new title.
“This new position will enable me to fully support NSS in providing the most secure and innovative solutions to the U.S. government,” Schulenberg said.
Mike Ronayne, meanwhile, has spent many years with IDEMIA. He served as a Program Manager with the company from 2000 to 2008, leaving to become a research and development director at GET Group Holdings Ltd. He joined IDEMIA NSS in 2014 as a Director, and rose up the role of Senior Director of Identity Solutions in 2019.
In his new position as VP of Federal Civilian Operations, Ronayne will “continue his role leading cross-functional research and product development to support NSS’s growing list of credential customers,” the company explained, noting that Ronayne possesses expertise in secure credentials, ePassports, security printing, and biometrics.
The leadership changes follow a series of high-level appointments across the broader IDEMIA organization in recent weeks, including new EVPs of Financial Institutions and Public Security and Identity, and a new Chief Technology Officer for IDEMIA I&S North America.
