Ondato Launches Reusable Digital Age Verification System for Online Services
Ondato has introduced OnAge, Ondato has introduced OnAge, a reusable digital age verification system that combines biometric authentication and document verification to enable streamlined access to age-restricted online services while preserving user privacy. Designed to meet heightened regulatory demands, such as those under the UK’s Online Safety Act, OnAge verifies users’ ages for services like e-commerce, gaming, and social media without repeated document submissions. Once users complete an initial age check through facial biometrics and document verification, their verified status can be reused across multiple platforms, reducing friction and enhancing user experience. OnAge adheres to privacy-by-design standards, storing minimal data and using encrypted tokens for verification, addressing data protection concerns in digital identity solutions.
