“[ID R&D’s] participation in the program will allow it to launch a cloud service through which other developers will be able to take advantage of its solutions.”
ID R&D has been accepted into Microsoft’s IoT & AI Insider Labs program, the company has announced.
IoT & AI Insider Labs is essentially aimed at accelerating the development of participating organizations’ Internet of Things and artificial intelligence solutions, connecting them with expert developers and business planners, and providing opportunities to network with other solutions providers across a number of adjacent industries. The program has Insider Labs in the China, Germany, and the US; and ID R&D will be participating in the latter, located in Seattle.
In a statement announcing its admission to the program, ID R&D explained that its work in the Seattle lab will focus on its multimodal biometric authentication technologies, “including AI-enhanced features for further reducing user requirements for secure identification.” The company also said that its participation in the program will allow it to launch a cloud service through which other developers will be able to take advantage of its solutions.
Commenting further, ID R&D CTO Konstantin Simonchik said, “Microsoft offers experience, ability, insight, and a reputation for being at the forefront of technological disruption since the beginning,” adding that his firm’s participation in Microsoft’s program “is an honor”.
News of ID R&D’s participation in the program comes just over a month after its announcement that it had appointed a new VP of Sales, suggesting that the company is currently undergoing an important growth phase.
