ID R&D has further expanded its executive team, announcing the appointment of Ilya Ozerets as its new Chief Product Officer.
Ozerets has actually been working with ID R&D for a little over a year in an advisory role, which he performed at the same time as he served as Mitek Systems’ Senior Product Manager. Before that, he worked as a Senior Product Manager for Wells Fargo from March of 2016 to September of 2017; and he founded his own tech innovation consultancy, Instaloper, in the spring of 2016.
In announcing Ozerets’ appointment, ID R&D explained that he will focus on the development of its portfolio of artificial intelligence-driven biometric authentication solutions.
Commenting further, ID R&D CEO Alexey Khitrov said in a statement that “Ilya brings a strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion, and his product vision will be critical to our continued growth,” adding later, “Ilya’s background aligns perfectly with ID R&D’s goal to deliver a zero-effort user authentication experience in any application on any platform.”
Ozerets’ appointment comes soon after ID R&D’s announcement of a new Vice President of Sales in October, and on the heels of its news last month that it had been accepted into Microsoft’s IoT & AI Insider Labs accelerator program.
