HYPR, ForgeRock Collaborate on Post-Password Solution

HYPR and ForgeRock have teamed up on a new digital security solution, the companies have announced.

In a statement, the companies announced that they are working together on a solution aimed at eliminating the use of passwords and shared secrets for over a billion digital identities. But details at this time are scant, with the companies describing the solution itself as one “that eliminates security concerns while providing an exceptional end-user journey.”

While this collaboration is new, HYPR and ForgeRock have a longstanding relationship. HYPR was one of the prominent digital security specialists that were part of the ForgeRock Trust Network partner program when it launched at the end of 2017, with others including FaceTec and Nok Nok Labs. And HYPR CEO George Avetisov remains an enthusiastic ForgeRock backer, asserting, “What ForgeRock has done for the digital identity ecosystem is unparalleled.”

Avetisov went on to note that “ForgeRock technology has been deployed to billions of users” and added, “we are excited to accelerate the adoption of True Passwordless Security at a global scale together.”

For its part, ForgeRock’s Global Business and Corporate Development SVP, Ben Goodman, emphasized the companies’ commitment to end user satisfaction in commenting on the collaboration. “Together with HYPR, ForgeRock’s Intelligent Authentication technology can ensure that the end-user gets the best possible authentication method at any time, in any channel,” he said.
