“Seth has a demonstrated ability to assemble high-performance teams that create and win markets while addressing customer needs across the globe.” – George Avetisov, CEO and co-founder, HYPR Corp
Decentralized authentication specialist HYPR has created a new executive position to fuel growth: The company now has a Chief Revenue Officer, and it is Seth Robbins.
Robbins brings to the role an impressive track record. He comes to HYPR from a previous role as a VP overseeing sales and field operations for Fireglass, a tech security firm acquired by Symantec last year after seeing 400 percent growth between 2016 and 2017 under Robbins’ leadership, according to a statement announcing his appointment to HYPR. The company also highlights Robbins’ previous role with tech security firm Bromium, where his team produced 80 percent of the firm’s revenue, and his sales efforts before that with RSA Security.
Commenting on the appointment, HYPR CEO George Avetisov said that Robbins “has a demonstrated ability to assemble high-performance teams that create and win markets while addressing customer needs across the globe,” adding, “He and I share a vision for the future of authentication and I have no doubt that Seth is the right leader to execute on that vision.”
HYPR’s establishment of the new position comes after the company’s announcement in February that its decentralized authentication technology will be integrated into Samsung Pass, Samsung’s mobile single sign-on solution for digital services. It also follows the close of a $10 million series-A funding round led by RRE Ventures, which featured high-profile backing from Samsung and also Mastercard.
