IdentoGO, the MorphoTrust USA division tasked with enrolling individuals into its TSA PreCheck program, has sealed a major new partnership that will significantly expand its number of enrollment centers across America. Going forward, enrollment services will be offered at H&R Block facilities in 27 states.
TSA PreCheck is, of course, the passenger screening fast-tracking program implemented by the country’s Transportation Security Administration. It revolves around biometric identification (at least, in its current iteration), collecting such data at the time of enrollment and then using it to quickly and efficiently match participating travelers at airports equipped with compatible biometric eGates. The new partnership with the consumer tax services provider will initially expand TSA PreCheck enrollment centers by over 20 percent.
MorphoTrust’s IdentoGO has gone to great lengths to generate interest in the program and to make it easy for people to sign up. The company recently set up an enrollment center at a major golf tournament, for example, and it has also sought to open up such facilities in under-served rural areas in certain parts of the US. In a statement, IdentoGO SVP Charles Carroll called H&R Block a “well-known and widely respected partner,” and added that the partnership would expand access to the program by “making it even more convenient to apply.”
