“HID executives will also play important roles at speaking events, with Executive Director Robert Harbour participating in the opening address…”
Secure identity solutions provider HID Global plans to show off some expanded offerings at next week’s connect:ID expo.
The showcase will revolve around the company’s Lumidigm V-Series V4xx fingerprint authentication technologies, which will now feature enhanced tamper protection and encryption capabilities. In a statement announcing the new features, HID Global asserted that its tamper protection and anti-malware technologies have already been tested with “multiple banking implementations,” demonstrating their capability to protect millions of customers. Now, the company’s clients can integrate these solutions into their V-series infrastructure, or they can have HID Global build a custom cryptographic solution.
While HID Global showed off a wide range of solutions at last year’s ASIS International conference, the company’s focus at connect:ID will be its Lumidigm offerings, which have financial services applications such as at bank counters and in ATMs. HID executives will also play important roles at speaking events, with Executive Director Robert Harbour participating in the opening address, Corporate Affairs VP Kathleen Carroll chairing connect:ID’s “Congressional Panel”, and Biometrics General Manager Paul Butler joining the “Identity Fraud” panel.
