HID Global and Certify Health have teamed up with kiosk manufacturer CTS on a biometric patient check-in kiosk. Within healthcare, CTS is known for kiosks designed to streamline the registration process, offer integration capabilities with healthcare software, and often feature advanced features like UVC disinfection.
HID and Certify first announced their partnership last September, explaining that its aim would be to develop a biometric patient engagement solution using HID’s U.Are.U facial recognition camera solution and Certify Health’s patient management system. Their joint solution has now been implemented in a self-service kiosk made by CTS, which will be showcased at the HIMSS 2024 event slated for March 11-15 in Orlando, Florida.
HID’s U.Are.U Camera Identification System is a cutting-edge facial recognition Leveraging HID’s patented multispectral imaging technology and advanced artificial intelligence, HID’s U.Are.U Camera Identification System offers exceptional performance even under challenging lighting. The result of a collaboration with Paravision, a leader in ethical AI, this system’s algorithm has seen strong rankings in the NIST Facial Recognition Vendor Test (FRVT), ensuring accuracy and reducing bias.
Certify, meanwhile, is best known for CERTIFY Care, a comprehensive patient engagement platform. This platform includes features for streamlining patient intake (digital forms, self-service check-in kiosks), secure patient authentication using biometrics, vaccine scheduling, patient portals, and tools to enhance practice revenue.
The companies will showcase their joint solution from booth #863 at HIMSS at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
