Green Bit Appoints New US Sales VP

Green Bit has hired a new VP of Sales and Business Development for its US subsidiary. Nadia Reid joins Green Bit Americas effective March 1st.

Reid comes to the company after a six-year stint as Sales Director for Laxton Group Limited, a company specializing in self-service kiosks, digital signage, music equipment, and other ICT support offerings. In a statement announcing her appointment to Green Bit, COO Sergio Rainero commended her “experience and industry knowledge”, asserting that these qualities have “already made her a key addition to the Green Bit Company family.” Rainero added that the appointment was a response to “the increasing demand from our customers within the Americas markets”.

For her part, Reid said she is looking forward to “working with the team to further develop their already extensive Biometric fingerprint product solutions and service suite.”

Green Bit specializes in FBI-certified fingerprint scanning technology, such as its DactyID20 fingerprint scanner, which was launched at the most recent Global Identity Summit in Florida. Reid is likely to find herself in a dynamic business environment as the company continues to develop its technology amid rising interest in biometric solutions among law enforcement and other government agencies.
