Green Bit will unveil its new MultiScan527t solution at next week’s FedID 2017 conference in Washington, the company has announced.
It’s an upgrade to the original MultiScan527 palm and fingerprint scanner launched in 2013, and features faster acquisition and USB 3.0 connectivity, as well as a 3.2″ LCD touchscreen and an integrated heater designed to help the system scan fingerprints even in low temperature environments. An alternative model, the MultiScan527xt, sports a simplified user interface, according to the company.
Green Bit will also take the opportunity of FedID 2017 to showcase its DactyScan84t fingerprint scanner first announced in early 2016, a device that also features a USB 3.0 interface. The company has announced that both the DactyScan84t and the MultiScan527t will be available starting in the fourth quarter of this year.
FedID 2017 will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., from September 12th to 14th.
