Fujitsu and ImageWare are expanding their partnership, the companies have announced.
The news comes soon after Fujitsu became a reseller of ImageWare’s biometric security products and services, integrating its facial and voice recognition technologies into its Fujitsu Cloud Service K5 solution. But the companies had worked together before, having initially entered into a partnership several years ago.
As for what’s coming next with this expansion, in a statement, Fujitsu America security division head Jason Bradlee said they are working together “on a number of opportunities, including a large-scale federated identity project” that is slated to launch later this quarter. For ImageWare’s part, CEO Jim Miller explained that the new agreement “represents the migration from technology partners to marketing and sales partners.”
“The Fujitsu brand is synonymous with quality, service and value around the world, serving millions of customers,” said Miller. “We are very proud to be at the core of the family of biometric and security products they offer to their clients as we now move these products to market.”
The ImageWare developments come soon after Fujitsu announced it had become a reseller of Nok Nok Labs’ biometric authentication platform last month.
